Our estate is incredibly complex but highly interesting, and for the right candidate who’s interested in empowering a Commercial team to deliver great supply chains to deliver across the Estate, this would be a fantastic role.
Our commercial teams manage ~300 contracts at any one time with a total value of £25bn+. This huge scale means we link closely into MOD and Government commercial networks and best practice via the GCO. Commercial is a major corporate function in Government

DIO provides total facilities management service which supports the UK Defence Training Estate in support of the country’s Defence (predominantly Army) training operations in the UK. Our Commercial team plays a key role in delivering a contract to support the UK’s Defence objectives and is responsible for the Defence Training Estate (which forms 1% of the entire UK landmass). The Training Estate Support Contract is complex, but very interesting in that it delivers Hard and Soft Facilities Management and Rural Estate Management. For the right candidate who is interested in being part of a team which delivers a vast range of services across the Estate, this would be an ideal role.
